12 presetsHow the curves were built
Each preset is derived from production guides on Nail The Mix, Chernobyl Audio and Fortin Amps. Sub-bass under 80 Hz drives the weight of down-tuned 7- and 8-string guitars. The 250–500 Hz band is where mud and box live — every modern preset cuts there. The 2–5 kHz range is where pick attack, snare crack and shouted vocals fight for room, so it's lifted in aggressive subgenres and tamed in doom. Above 8 kHz is cymbal air and symphonic shimmer; black metal and deathcore lean in, doom pulls back.
